Michael Cashman

 Michael Cashman

Carraig na bhFear, Cork

In loving memory of Michael on his First Anniversary.

The Cashman family sincerely thank all who supported and sympathised with us on our sad loss. We are very grateful to everyone who visited our home, Funeral Mass, and also for the Mass cards, letters and condolences that we received which were of great comfort. We would like to thank Fr Martin for his help during this time and the beautiful service

We wish to acknowledge the doctors, nurses and staff at St Catherine`s ward in the Mercy hospital who took diligent care of Michael during his time with them.  We offer our heartfelt thanks to home help Connie and also Lisa who travelled long distance to help with making Michael as comfortable as possible in his final weeks on earth with us. A special mention to Dawn for her help throughout. To all our neighbours and friends who helped with traffic management , we are truly grateful for all the help given in harsh weather conditions.

Don’t think of him as gone away ,
his journey’s just begun,
life holds so many facets ,
this earth is only one.
Just think of him as resting,
from the sorrows and the tears,
in a place of warmth and comfort,
where there are no days or years.
Think how we must be wishing,
that we could know today,
how nothing but our sadness,
can really pass away.
And think of him as living,
in the hearts of those he touched,
for nothing loved is ever lost,
and he was loved so much.

Always remembered and missed by his wife, children, grandchildren, extended family and friends.

Michael`s 1st Anniversary Mass will be celebrated on Friday 1st November at 11am in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Carraig na bhFear.
