The family of the late Michael (Mick) Drew, Raheny, Dublin who passed away on the 13th January 2022, would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for all who sympathised with us on our very sad loss.

As we approach 6 months since his sudden passing, we want to give huge thanks to all relatives and friends that travelled from the four corners of the country, the UK, from his school friends in St. Declan's, Cabra, Templemore classmates of 1974 and former colleagues in SDU, Harcourt Street, close friends and neighbours who attended his funeral Mass and to those who followed the cermony online, special thanks to the Garda Traffic Unit for the escort to Glasnevin Cremetorium and re-route to pass Croke Park, we were so grateful for this wonderful gesture.

Many thanks to the staff at St. Francis Hospice, Raheny, for their care for him in his final days, for which we will always be thankful.

A special thanks to Fr. Mick in Mother of Divine Grace Church, Raheny, for such a lovely funeral Mass, to his dear friend Brian for his wonderful singing at the church and crematorium, his rendition of the 'The Parting Glass' will hold a special place in our hearts forever more.

Thank you to The White House, Baldoyle and The Ceders, Raheny, for their hospitality for our family on the day of the funeral.

Thank you to everyone who sent cards, flowers, wrote condolences on RIP.ie and phoned us sharing such lovely memories you had of him.  To our own friends and immediate family, we thank you for your daily support in making each day more bearable as we come to terms with our immeasurable loss.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as expression of our deepest gratitude.
