ACKNOWLEDGEMENT AND FIRST ANNIVERSARY
As we lovingly remember our dear father, Mick, whose first anniversary occurs on the 6th of December, we his family would like to express our sincere gratitude and appreciation to all who supported us in our time of sadness and loss. Thank you to those who travelled long and short distances to offer us your support, to all who attended Dad’s wake and mass in person or online, those who sent letters, cards, flowers, online condolences and made donations to the palliative care unit in his memory.
To our extended family and friends, especially Dad’s carer and our neighbours who called daily, we will be forever grateful, because your assistance made it possible for Dad to stay at home as was his wish. To the exceptional staff of the Palliative home care team, Dr. Robert Maharg, Fr. Sean Hanafin, Fr. Martin Hegarty, The Gleasure Funeral Home for their help and professionalism, and all those who helped to make Dad’s funeral mass special.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as an expression of our sincere gratitude. The holy sacrifice of mass will be offered for your intentions.
Dad’s first anniversary mass will be celebrated on Sunday, December 11 at 11.30 am in St. John’s Church, Ballybunion. All welcome.
