We the family of the late Michael Sweeney wish to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all who sympathised and supported us on the sad passing of Michael.

We would like to thank Dr.Forkan at the Health Centre Stranorlar, their reception team, nurses and Palliative care team. A special message to Geraldine and Rory in the Oncology Day unit and also a big thank you to all the staff in the Oncology ward. Thank you to all the staff at Flatley's Chemist Stranorlar for their help, attention and guidance with Michael's medication.

We would like to thank all who lined the route to St. Patrick's Church. All those who took part in the guard of honour, the Red Hugh's football club and the Vintage club. Thank you to those who attended the mass and watched online.

Thank you to Orla, Danny and Siobhan for their beautiful touching music and hymns. We would like to thank both Sacristans.

Sincere thanks to Father Patsy for his visits and spiritual guidance to Michael, his prayers and his beautiful words at Michael's funeral and the lovely service he provided; thank you to Father Frankie who also visited Michael.

Thank you to McCool Funeral Directors who provided a professional and dignified service for Michael, especially Gerard for your support and guidance .

We would like to thank everyone who sent messages, cards, attended the wake far and near and posted on RIP.ie. A special thank you to all our neighbours and friends who provided food and refreshments during and after Michael's wake.

We the immediate family, wife Anne, daughter Charlotte, sons John and Matthew would like to thank all our family and friends who made it possible for us to give Michael his wishes of remaining at home on his last days .
Prayers will be offered for Michael in St. Patrick's Church, Crossroads, Killygordon on 29th August at 6pm Mass.
