Harbour Road, Arklow, Wicklow / Gorey, Wexford

Michael’s wife Elizabeth, daughters Claire & Susan, brothers and sisters along with their families, wish to express our sincere thanks to all who sympathised with us during our recent loss.

A special thank you to all our family, friends and neighbours.  Thanks to all who called to our homes, brought food, telephoned, sent tributes through cards or messages of condolences, attended Michael’s wake, funeral Mass & burial, those who travelled long distances to be with us & those who couldn’t be present, but joined us via livestream.

Thank you to those who made charitable donations to the ICU in St. Vincent’s University Hospital in Michael’s memory, we are truly grateful.

A special word of thanks to Dr. Foster and all his staff, the doctors and nurses in ICU St. Vincent’s University Hospital, for their care, kindness and compassion shown at all times. Thank you Garda Daragh Keogh and Garda Anthony McHugh for the care and attention given to our family.

Our sincere thanks to Fr. David Brough for his kind prayers & all who participated in Michael’s Funeral Mass.  Thank you to Michael Flood & Patricia Kavanagh for the beautiful singing and music.

To all in Hudson’s Funeral Directors, especially Helena, thank you for your utmost professionalism and compassion.

Thank you also to the management & staff of the Arklow Bay Hotel for their hospitality after the funeral and to Joe & Tom from R.S.S. for tending to the grave.

To those who helped in any way, your contribution made our loss more bearable.  As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude.

Michael’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 29th January at 11.30am in the Church of Saints Mary & Peter, Arklow, those who cannot attend are welcome to join via the Parish Webcam.
