Monica McEneany

 Monica McEneany
(née Graham)

Monaghan Town, Monaghan

The family of the late Monica Mc Eneany, 11 Cathedral View, Monaghan, who passed away on the 28th of March 2024, would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them during the time of their great loss.

Monica's Husband Gerry and her children offer their heartfelt thanks to relatives, friends, neighbours and well-wishers who visited our home, attended the wake, the removal service, the Funeral and Months mind masses, wither in person or online, and those who provided and continue to provide emotional and practical support for us at this difficult time.

For those who telephoned, travelled long distances, sent floral tributes, cards and messages of condolences, as well as those who made charitable donations and provided sustenance, we will be forever grateful.

We were truly overwhelmed by the send off she received, and rightly deserved.

To everyone who contributed and participated in her funeral service, especially Canon Mc Ginn, for his apt eulogy, which summed her up beautifully, we thank you. To our Funeral Directors, thank you for attending to the finer details enabling us to concentrate on other matters. To the Grave diggers, thank you for preparing and finishing her resting place with such care.

A special word of gratitude to all the carers who helped support the family to take care of Monica while in her home and to those who called to see her weekly, thank you. To her Doctor, the staff  in the medical center and pharmacy who looked after Monica's medical requirements over the years in some way or other, we thank you also.

The family would like to extend a very special  word of thanks to the Doctors, the Medical and assistance staff  in the CCU units and Boyne East wards in Our Lady the Lourdes Hospital for the superb attention she received while in their care and for ensuring Monica was afforded as pain free and dignified death as was possible, we will never forget your support and kindness to us all.

To those who helped in any way, your contribution made our loss more bearable. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.

Those of you who think of her today, a little prayer to Jesus say.
