First Anniversary

In loving memory of Monica Pidgeon whose first anniversary occurs on November 11th 2024.

This time last year, it was so hard to see

The angels guiding you away from me

You held on tight Mam, not wanting to go

But life had been cruel to you, even they know.

 

It was time to stop fighting, you deserved to be free,

From your ailments that crept up so quickly,

I miss you so much Mam, more than you’ll ever know 

But when you love somebody. you have to let them go.
