Acknowledgement And First Anniversary

As we fondly remember Noel whose First Anniversary occurs on February 20th 2024, his family and partner wish to express our heartfelt thanks to all who offered their support upon Noel’s sudden passing.

Our sincere gratitude to everyone who attended to Noel at his home; his dear friend Derry Desmond, Sgt Jim O’Donoghue, Garda Fergal Dowling, Dr. Tony Foley and Fr. Michael O’ Mahony; we want to thank you for your professionalism and support.

To Noel’s neighbours, friends and everyone who offered their sympathies and support, travelled long distances, sent mass and sympathy cards, letters of condolence and phone calls; thank you.

Thank you to Fr. Micheal O’ Mahony who was a source of enormous support and consolation to us during this sad time. We would also like to thank Fr. Charlie Nyhan for assisting in Noel’s Requiem Mass which truly encapsulated Noel’s life in the community. To Gabriel and O’ Donovan undertakers for your sensitive and professional handling of arrangements, the gravediggers, the sacristan, the choir and family members for providing the music; we wish to offer our esteemed gratitude and thanks.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere appreciation to all. Noel’s first Anniversary Mass will take place in the Holy Trinity Church, Ballinspittle on Saturday, February 24th, at 8pm.

As the stately ships sail by,

To their haven under the hill,

But o for the touch of a vanished hand

The sound of a voice that is still.
