The family of the late Nora Hynes, who passed away on 12 May 2022 would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all those who sympathised with us on our sad loss.  We greatly appreciate the phone calls, messages, mass cards, letters, flowers and condolences on RIP.ie and Mid-West radio.

Our sincere thanks to Dr Eadaoin Townley and Dr. David Townley before her, Nurse Christine and all the nurses and staff at the hospitals, the HSE and the Mayo Roscommon Hospice for the wonderful care and kindness shown to Nora during her illness.

We would also like to express our heartfelt thanks to all those who came to show their respects at home and to those who travelled a long way to do so.  Thank you to the Jennings and extended Hynes families, neighbours and all her friends and those just taking the ‘Logie Loop for a walk’ who stopped by to support us.  We were very touched by your warmth and caring. 

Thank you to all at Carey Funeral Directors, for the kindness and compassion shown to us all.  Thank you to Fr O’Conner for such a lovely Mass and his personal and fitting tribute to Nora as member the community.

Nora will be deeply and sadly missed and will always be remembered.

As it is impossible to thank everybody individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our heartfelt appreciation. The holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intensions.
