The family of the late Norah Gildea, who passed away peacefully on July 29th 2022, would like to express our thanks to all who sympathised with us on Norah's passing.  We greatly appreciate the letters, Mass cards, phone calls, messages and online messages sharing memories of Norah.

We wish to thank all who attended the funeral home and the funeral Mass, those who joined the Mass online, and to thank especially Fr. Johnny Cusack for leading the prayers at the funeral home and Fr. Sean Mawn, Fr.Gerard Cryan and Fr. Sean Kelly who celebrated Norah's life at the funeral Mass.  Thank you to Martina Maguire, friends and family for their beautiful music, poetry and readings.

To Funeral Services Directors Claire & Liam McGirl and Adrian Smyth, thank you for your professionalism and guidance. To the Staff at Ballinamore Nursing Care Unit and Dr. Sean Bourke & Staff, thank you for your care during Norah's final days. 

We wish to acknowledge and sincerely thank Norah's Home Help Team. Over the years, they generously went above and beyond in supporting Norah living in her own home.

Our most heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Norah's very special neighbours and friends who were always there for her and for us in so many ways during her lifetime, and for their enduring friendship as we mourn her loss. 

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually for their kindness, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude.

Norah's First Anniversary Mass will be offered at 7pm on Wednesday August 9th, 2023
