 Noreen Corkery
(née Burns)

Donoughmore, Cork / Buttevant, Cork

Acknowledgement and First Anniversary (15th July 2023)

As we lovingly remember Noreen on her first anniversary, we the family wish to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with us and supported us on our sad loss. Thank you to all our relatives, great friends and neighbours, and to all who phoned, visited, sent messages, mass cards and comforting messages on RIP.ie. Furthermore, we thank all those who attended the rosary, removal, mass and burial.

We would especially like to thank Dr. Eilish Brosnan (The Laurels Surgery, Mallow, Co.Cork) for the great care and dedication she provided Noreen throughout her illness. We would also like to thank the Alzheimer's Society of Ireland, especially Ann O' Sullivan and the HSE homecare staff for their support and kindness they showed Noreen. Thank you to Marymount Hospice and especially the nurses who supported Noreen at home in her final few days.

Thank you to Fr. Eugene Baker in Buttevant for supporting Noreen in the last number of years and for leading the beautiful funeral mass. A special thank you to O'Keeffe's Undertakers for the kindness and professionalism they showed Noreen and her family.

As it is not possible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our deep gratitude and appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.

‘ We think of her as living in the hearts of those she touched …for nothing loved is ever lost and she was loved so much “.

Noreen's first Anniversary mass will be held on Friday the 19th of July 2024 at 7pm, in Saint Mary's Church, Main Street, Buttevant, Co.Cork

Lovingly remembered by her husband Pat, daughters Joanne, Karen, Norma, Patricia & Denise. Her sons in law Dominic, Emmett, Danny, Stephen & Michael. Her cherished grandchildren, Megan, Anthony, Aine, John, Ciaran, Brian, Adam, Padraig, Colm, Aoife, Eoin, Eimear & Cal and her sister Margaret Foley & family.
