Acknowledgement & First Anniversary

12th of January

We the family, Tim, Mary, Anna, Brian & Elma would like to thank all those who supported us on the sad loss of our much loved wife, mother and grandmother.

We would like to thank all who attended the visitation and Funeral Service. To Hyde’s Funeral Directors, Anthony in particular, thank you for your kindness, compassion and the dignity shown to Mam and support to us as a family. Our thanks to Fr. Winkle for a lovely Mass with special thanks to Kay & Ber for the lovely singing and music.

To everyone who offered their condolences or sent Mass Cards or flowers, we thank you sincerely.  To family, neighbours, friends, work-mates and everyone else who supported us through this hard time, be it by making sandwiches, a phone call or visit, we are most grateful for your support.

We would also like to thank Dr. Doran and all the staff at CUH for the care Mam received throughout her illness.  A special mention to Lauren for her care and the kindness shown to Mam.

Noreen’s First Anniversary Mass will be held in St. Mary’s Church, Carrigtwohill on the 12th of January, 2024 at 7.30 pm.

We little knew that morning

That God was going to call your name.

In life we loved you dearly,
In death we do the same.

It broke our hearts to lose you
You did not go alone.
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.

You left us peaceful memories.
Your love is still our guide,
And though we cannot see you
You are always at our side.

Our family chain is broken
And nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one
The chain will link again.
