GAVIN - NUALA
The family of Nuala Gavin would like to express our deepest gratitude and heartfelt appreciation to all of those who sympathised and supported us in the days following the recent loss of our beloved Nuala. Thank you to all who attended in person and travelled long distances to support us at both the removal and funeral Mass. To those who shared messages of condolences online and to everyone who sent mass cards and offered their support in so many kind and thoughtful ways.
A special word of thanks to Fr. Brendan Quinlivan for his kindness and warmth, and for the celebration of such a memorable and personal funeral Mass. To Carmel Moroney for her advice and support in arranging and presiding at the Mass, and to our sacristan Michelle for her assistance throughout. A heartfelt thanks to Pat McCarthy for his heavenly and breathtaking solo performances. To Joan McNamara, the members of the Tulla Choir, Eileen Minogue, Meanus Maguire and Richie Dwyer, who together crafted such an uplifting musical and choral experience in tribute to Nuala.
Thanks also to James O’Halloran, funeral undertaker, for his professionalism, guidance and support. To the members of the Tulla Apostolic Society for providing the guard of honour. A very special thanks to Liam Dwan and his staff in Brown Thomas Limerick, the Paramedics and the members of An Garda Síochána who assisted Nuala.
We are especially grateful to our neighbours and friends from both Tulla and Quin who hand-dug and prepared Nuala’s grave with such care and detail. Thank you to Kathleen and the staff of The Holly Tree who provided delicious food and refreshments over a number of days. We also wish to thank Sandra and her staff in Minogues Bar. A sincere thanks to those who so generously donated to the Our Lady’s Hospital Crumlin fund.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our deepest appreciation.
Month’s Mind Mass will be held on Sunday, 14th May, at 11am in St. Peter & Paul’s Church, Tulla.
