The family of Olive Vaughey, formerly of Brookville Park, Drogheda, Co, Louth, would like to express our deepest appreciation for everyone's sympathy as we mourned her loss. The shared memories from all of you at the repose and funeral, along with the many phone calls, flowers, cards and words of condolence meant a great deal to us all.
We would especially like to thank:
Portimao Hospital, their Ambulance and Hospital Staff who cared so much for Olive and were so kind and considerate to the Family at their time of need.
Agencia Funeraria Guerreiro & Guerreiro of Lagos who repatriated Olive to Ireland in a most dignified manner.
Paddy Townley and Sons for receiving Olive and making every detail of the funeral easy for the family, their incredible care for all of us and attention to every detail.
Fr. Aiden Murphy who conducted a beautiful Funeral Requiem Mass and Burial and the incredible Cantor, Timmy Regan, for the beautiful and poignant songs.
The family who participated in the ceremony and particularly Nicole Fagan, who performed the eulogy, which chronicled Olive’s life so well.
The many people who travelled long distances, many from abroad, to be with us.
All our friends and family, both in Ireland and Portugal and indeed further afield.
We are all very saddened by the passing of Olive. Although her time on earth is over, she will never be forgotten and the memories of her life with us will never be lost.
Thank you all so much.
Petrina, Orla and Georgina.
