 Paddy Murphy

Grangebellew, Louth

The family of the late Patrick (Paddy) Murphy, Brittas, Grangebellew, who passed away peacefully on 9 March 2023, would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all who sympathised with us on our sad loss. We greatly appreciate the phone calls, Mass cards, sympathy cards, letters and condolences on RIP.ie. Thanks to those who called to our home and attended the requiem Mass. Thanks also to Walshestown J.F.C. and I.F.A. for the guard of honour.

We greatly appreciate the care given to Paddy during his illness. Thanks to Dr. Daly, Dr. Muldoon and the carers who came to our home, the management and staff of Moorehall Lodge, Drogheda, the doctors and staff of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital especially the Oncology/Haematology Department and the Palliative Care Unit, Newgrange One.

Thanks to Herlihys Pharmacy for their help over the years, to Fr McVeigh for his attention before and after Paddy’s death and to Gerry Mulroy for the beautiful singing during the funeral service. We would like to also thank the committee of Drumshallon Forge Heritage Centre for the parking facilities and to our kind relatives, neighbours and friends for their help during the time of the funeral. Thanks to P. Townley and Sons for their sensitive and professional handling of the arrangements.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept their acknowledgement as an expression of our heartfelt appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
