1st Anniversary and Acknowledgement

Deeply loved, sadly missed and always remembered by his loving wife Mary, his children Siobhán, Sile, Patrick, Colette and Peter, his sons in law Don and Declan, daughters in law Lynda and Sharon, and his much loved and adored grandchildren Aoife, Órna, Charlie, Millie, Dylan, Harry, Josh, Jack, Ava and Laura. We thank Pat’s family, his brother Tom and sisters Rita and Mary. We also thank Mary’s family. We would also say a big thank you to Pat’s nieces and nephews, his wonderful neighbours and large circle of friends for their support.

We would like to acknowledge the excellent and holistic care Pat received from Dr. Kathleen Kelleher, Southdoc and the staff at Buttevant Pharmacy.

Our thanks to Fr. Baker for his kindness and professionalism and for arranging a beautiful funeral Mass for Pat. It meant a lot to be able to share it via live stream to all that could not attend Pat’s funeral due to pandemic restrictions.

Thank you to Eddie and Don of O’Keeffe’s Funeral Directors for their expertise and understanding during a very sad time. Also, to Eddie, the grave digger who prepared Pat’s final resting place.

We recall Pat’s pride in everything he did, his courage in the face of adversity and his kind and loving smile which we dearly miss. Also, his legendary sporting skills, his love of farming and gardening and a man who was most happy at home with his family.

We appreciate those who took the time to telephone, send mass cards, letters and floral tributes. We would like to thank Pat’s friends from Doneraile Golf Club and Buttevant Running Club who lined the road on the day of Dad’s burial. We would also like to thank Kilbrin GAA and how proud he would be with the Kilbrin colours on his coffin.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere gratitude and appreciation.
