As we fondly remember Patricia on her First Anniversary,  24th October 2021, we her family would like to acknowledge the overwhelming kindness and support offered by everyone who sympathised with us on our great loss.

We offer our heartfelt thanks to the many friends, neighbours who visited our home, attended the service and burial and who provided emotional and practical support for us at that difficult time. For those who telephoned, travelled long distances, sent floral tributes, brought food, cards and messages of condolences,  lined the road on mum's final journey and those who donated to charities in mum’s memory - we are truly grateful.

Thank you to Fr. Joseph Gavigan, for his kindness and for celebrating the Funeral Mass, to Fr. Dan O'Mahony and Fr Stephen O'Mahony for concelebrating the Mass and to Carmel McDermott for the beautiful music which was such a fitting tribute to mum.

We would like to thank Tommy Sharkey’s Funeral home for their utmost professionalism and to Durkin’s Restaurant for the food after the funeral service.  

A special word of thanks to Dr Clair Ward and  all of the staff of Mayo and Galway University Hospitals who provided exceptional care for mum during her illness.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude.

Patricia’s first anniversary Mass will take place on Sunday, 23rd October,  at 10am in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kilmovee.
