Pat’s wife Loretto and family Thomas, Loretto Jnr., Alex and Shane wish to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them on their recent great loss. To all our wonderful neighbours, friends, work colleagues and school friends who called to the house with food etc., the O’ Kane and Cullinan families who were exceptionally helpful when needed most, those who telephoned, sent messages, flowers, attended the removal, Funeral Mass and graveside, we most sincerely thank you.

The family especially wish to thank Professor Declan Lyons and his team, doctors, nurses and staff at Limerick University Hospital for their wonderful care of Pat during his final illness. To Bishop Alphonsus Cullinan, Fr. Oliver Plunkett, Fr. Tom Mangan and Fr. Paul Waldron for concelebrating the Requiem Mass, to the sacristan of St Joseph’s Church Una, organist Bryan Meehan and the management and staff of the Strand Hotel for their catering and hospitality services, a huge thank you to you all.

To the undertaker John Thompson and staff for their wonderful support, kindness, compassion and professionalism in handling the funeral arrangements, thank you. Thank you to President Michael D. Higgins and Taoiseach Leo Varadkar for sending their Aides-de-Camp. As its impossible to thank everyone individually we hope this serves as a measure of our deep appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. The Month’s Mind Mass for Pat takes place on Sunday, 23rd February 2020, at 11.30am in St Joseph’s Church, O’ Connell Avenue, Limerick.
