Paddy’s wife Ellen, children Catherine, James and Rosemary and all his family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to each and every person who offered condolences, kindness and help throughout their recent sad loss.

Thank you to those who visited the funeral home, attended Paddy’s removal, funeral Mass and burial, those who phoned, sent Mass cards, letters, texts and warm wishes online, to all those who travelled long distances and to those who couldn’t be present but joined in the celebration of Paddy’s life via live-stream.

Thank you to the doctors, nurses and caring staff of St. Colmcille’s Hospital, Loughlinstown for their great care throughout Paddy’s final weeks.

Special thanks to Fr. Aquinas Duffy for his prayers, guidance and beautiful funeral Mass, to the sacristy team at St. Mary’s Church and to Karla Treacy and Bridget Kenny for such lovely music.

Thanks to family, colleagues, neighbours and friends whose kindness, compassion and generosity will never be forgotten.

Thanks also to all at John Sweeney & Sons Funeral Directors for their guidance and professional handling of arrangements, to Chris Caffrey for tending to the grave & to the management and staff of Jack White’s Inn for their hospitality.

Paddy’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 2nd March at 7.30pm in St. Marys Church, Barndarrig.
