Patrick (Paddy) Daly,
Clonfanlough, Athlone, Offaly.
Died May 20th 2023.
We, Helen, Anne, Patricia &Niall, Cathal & Noelle, Peter & Olive and family wish to express our sincere gratitude to all those who sympathised and supported us during Paddy's short illness and passing.
Heartfelt thanks to our wonderful relatives, neighbours, and friends who provided, and continue to provide, emotional and practical support. To all who called to the house, attended the funeral, travelled long distances, phoned, sent messages of condolences, cards, letters and floral tributes, we are truly grateful.
To our amazing neighbours and friends who managed the traffic, organised the grave, provided and managed refreshments to us and to the many callers to our home, we will be forever grateful and feel blessed, as Dad did to be part of such a great community.
Sincere thanks to Fr. PJ Fitzpatrick and Bishop Willie Walsh for the lovely funeral ceremony and to Claire Sheeran for the wonderful music and singing. Thanks also to Dad's nieces and nephew Claire, Bronagh and Sean Og for the farewell song in Clonmacnois.
To Joe Grennan, a huge thank you for your professionalism, kindness and guidance with the funeral arrangements. We are extremely grateful for the care Paddy received from the medical team, nurses and staff at Portiuncula Hospital Ballinasloe.
To all those who helped in any way, your help and support meant a lot to us and was much appreciated. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
Those we love don't go away,
They walk beside us everyday.
Paddy's Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated in St. Ciaran's Church, Clonfanlough on Saturday, June 24th at 12 noon.
