 Pauline Treacy

Ballsbridge, Dublin / Derrygonnelly, Fermanagh

The family of the late Pauline Treacy of Ballsbridge (and formerly of Derrgonnelly Co. Fermanagh) who died on 6th July 2024 would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them on their great loss.

We offer our heartfelt thanks to the many friends, kind neighbours, former work colleagues and associates of Pauline,well-wishers who visited our homes, attended the funeral home, funeral service and burial on 12th July in Derrgonnelly and/or the celebration mass service at the National Rehabilitation Hospital NRH Co.Dublin on 27th July, and to all those who provided emotional and practical support for us at this difficult time. For those who messaged, emailed, telephoned, travelled long distances, sent floral tributes, sympathy and mass cards and messages of condolences,as well as those who made charitable donations (for the NRH Foundation), we are truly grateful.

A special word of thanks to the multiprofessional ICU team and ICU reception staff, and also Prof Patrick Mallon at St. Vincent’s University Hospital for their care; also to Dr Mark Coyne for his time, sensitivity and care with both Pauline and the family.

To Pauline’s dear friends, your support over the last few months to Pauline at home and over the short time she was  at hospital has been invaluable to us and we can’t thank you enough for your support when we were at a distance, you are very special people.

We would like to thank Fr. Seamus, the celebrant in Derrygonnelly,,and the musicians and soloist, and all those who participated in the funeral mass, and also Leanne and the funeral directors (Damian MCGovern Undertakers) for their support and sensitive and professional handling of arrangements, with further thanks to Tir Navar Riverside Cafe for the hospitality provided afterwards.

Thank you to Fr. Michael Kennedy the celebrant at the mass at NRH, with very special thanks to Anne Casey for organising, and to those close friends who read at this special and intimate service. For the family representatives able to attend the mass and talk to those attending afterwards -this is a lovely memory to have.

To those who helped in any way, your contribution made our loss more bearable. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.

Pauline certainly made an imprint on all of our hearts, a beautiful and loving sister, sister in law, aunt and great aunt. May Pauline rest in peace now and may we continue to remember her well.

The Months Mind Memory Mass for Pauline will be held on Sunday, 4th August 2024, at 11.30 am in St. Patrick’s Church, Derrgonnelly. All welcome.
