McBarron, Philomena, Corracoash, Kinawley, Co Fermanagh. Died 4th November 2022.

Philomena’s daughter Noelle, sons Connor, and Liam, with their families wish to acknowledge the many expressions of sympathy and gestures of kindness shown to us following the sad loss of mum.

We offer heartfelt thanks to those who visited our home, lined the funeral route, attended the removal of remains and requiem mass. For those who telephoned, travelled long distances, sent floral tributes, mass and sympathy cards, messages of condolence on media platforms, we are most grateful.

We owe a debt of gratitude to the wonderful staff Ward 6, SWAH, for their love and care of mum; to the community teams, including her carers from Lakeland Community Care, we gratefully appreciate all your kindness; to Mary McElroy for the kindness, love and attention she unconditionally gave to mum; to our neighbours, Ann and Dermot Dolan; to Kinawley Brian Boru’s, from making available their resources, to the respectful guard of honour afforded to mum; to Kilmacud Crokes, Dublin; Lisnaskea Emmets ; to the Principal and staff of Holy Trinity College, Cookstown; to the Principal and staff of Oatlands College, Blackrock, Dublin, thank you for your support.

To Fr Raymond Donnelly, Chaplain, SWAH for his spiritual ministrations. Special thanks to Fr Maurice McMorrow for his unstinting ministry to mum over many years, for the uplifting prayers in the family home and celebrating the beautiful requiem mass. To Fr Donald Hannon, Fr Gerry Comiskey, Fr Dinny Murray and Fr Brian D'Arcy, we sincerely thank you for your presence and long-standing friendships. Thank you to con-celebrants, Fr Joe Poole CSSP and Fr Johnnie Cusack for your uplifting participation in celebrating mum's life and Fr Johnnie, for your heartfelt homily. We thank the Sacristan and Usher in the preparation of the Church.

To those who participated in the Mass, mum would have been so proud, especially her nieces, Lorraine, and Louise O'Reilly, for their exquisite singing and music; to Kinawley Community Hall, John Roche, and staff -Tully-Mill restaurant, for the beautiful refreshments, thank you sincerely. Finally, Michael and Gavin Leydon, and their team at Leydon’s funeral directors for their kindness, guidance and the sensitive yet professional manner with which they carried out mum’s funeral arrangements, we are forever indebted to you.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.

Philomena’s months mind will be held in St Naile’s Church, Kinawley on Saturday, 3rd December, at 5pm.
