Richard's wife Kathleen, his mother Bridie and sisters Kathy (Ennis, Co. Clare) and Paula (Dunboyne, Co. Meath) wish to express our heartfelt thanks to our neighbours, relatives and friends and all who came in huge numbers to pay their respects at our homes, those who sympathised with us on our great loss at the funeral home, removal, funeral Mass and burial and who  provided emotional and practical support for us at this difficult time.

For  those who telephoned, travelled long distances, sent floral tributes from as far away as Australia and America, Mass cards, letters of sympathy, messages of condolence, we are truly grateful.

The management, nurses and staff of South Westmeath Hospice for their great care and respect shown at all times, their help and support and providing care beyond the call of duty.

Fr. Pádraig Kelliher for visiting Richard on numerous occasions in the hospice, for his Blessings, providing the Sacraments, his words of wisdom to help us through, for celebrating his Funeral Mass and ongoing support and we would also like to thank Fr. Michael Hickey for concelebrating at Funeral Mass and all the priests at Coosan and St.Mary's Churches for their help and support.

A special word of thanks to Tommy Devine, Maura O'Brien and Brendan Shine for providing beautiful music and singing at Funeral Mass.

To our dear families for the tremendous support and help, food supplied and gifts given   and our lovely  Mass readers thank you all so much.

Richard's first Anniversary Mass will be held on Sunday, 20th December 2020, at 12 noon in Coosan Church, Athlone.
