Richard’s children Mary, Joan, Helena, Gerry, Michael, James & Martin & all his family wish to express our heartfelt thanks for the kindness, sympathy & support shown to us throughout our Dad’s sad passing.

Thank you to everyone who visited the funeral home, attended Dad's removal, funeral Mass & burial, those who sent Mass cards, letters & texts, those who shared happy memories & warm messages online, those who travelled long distances to offer comfort & support & those who couldn’t be present but joined us in the celebrating Dad’s life via webcam.

Our most sincere thanks to Vincent Pippett, the ambulance crew & the doctors, nurses & staff of St. Vincent’s Hospital, who were all so good to Dad throughout his illness.

Special thanks to Fr. Gerard Deegan for his prayers, comforting guidance & beautiful funeral Mass, to Avril O’Toole & Bridget Kenny for their fabulous music, to the sacristy team at St. Mary’s Church & to Ray Finn for his lovely graveside lament.

Thanks also to the management & staff of Jack White’s Inn for their hospitality, to Chris Caffrey for tending to the grave & to all at John Sweeney & Sons Funeral Directors.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.

Richard’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 29th September at 7.30pm in St. Mary’s Church, Barndarrig.
