Seamus is remembered lovingly on his first anniversary by his wife Marie, his children Declan, John, Mairead, Dawn and Karen, his grandchildren, sisters and extended family, relatives, and friends.

 

The Doyle family would like to express our sincere appreciation to everyone who has supported us in the past year. To those who attended the repose and the funeral to those who wrote to us, called us, left condolences on RIP.ie and supported us in the difficult months afterwards.

 

We thank those who cared for Seamus particularly in the last months of his life, all the staff in Wexford General Hospital and St. John’s Community Hospital, the doctors in Fethard on Sea Surgery, and his carers.

 

Thanks also to Fr Byrne, Fr O'Connor, and Fr Laffan for celebrating a beautiful Requiem Mass and most especially to Seamus’ friend of 70 years Canon Alec Barrass who travelled to visit him regularly from his home in Sunderland.

 

Da’s passing has left a huge void in our lives. We miss him and remember him every day.

 

It is impossible to thank everyone individually, but your kindness is greatly appreciated and will never be forgotten; please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude.

 

The holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.

 

First Anniversary Mass

The first Anniversary Mass for Seamus will be celebrated in St Martin’s Church, Ballycullane on Saturday, July 29th at 7.30pm
