Seán’s wife Breda, his nieces, nephews & all his extended family wish to express their most sincere thanks to all those who offered sympathy & support throughout Seán’s sad passing and in the time since.

Thank you to those who visited the funeral home, attended Seán’s removal, funeral Mass & burial, sent Mass cards and floral tributes, those who travelled long distances and all those who phoned, wrote or shared kind messages online.

We would also like to thank Anne-Marie who cared for Seán in his home, the team at Arklow Medical Practice, the staff of Adrian Dunne Pharmacy & the wonderful doctors, nurses & caring staff of St. Vincent’s Hospital who were so good to Seán throughout his final months.

Special thanks to Fr Pádraig Ó’Cochláin for his comforting prayers, his guidance and beautiful funeral Mass & to Lucy Carolan & Rosarie Kinsella for such lovely music.

Thanks also to the management & staff of the Arklow Bay Hotel for their hospitality, to Jason Porter for tending to the grave & to all at John Sweeney & Sons for their guidance and reverence.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.

Seán’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 6th March at 11.30am in St.’s Mary & Peter’s Church & those who cannot attend are welcome to join via the Arklow Parish Webcam;
