(née Greene)

Gorey, Wexford / Arklow, Wicklow

Stephanie’s husband John, daughter Nessa, sons Eoin, Phelim, Kealan and all our family wish to acknowledge with deep appreciation the many expressions of comfort and support shown to us during our recent sad loss. Thank you to all those who travelled from far and near to attend the funeral home, Stephanie’s Requiem Mass and burial, along with those who joined us online. Thank you to those who phoned, sent mass cards, text messages, sympathy cards, letters of sympathy, those who sent floral wreaths, left messages of condolences on rip.ie and those who kept us in their prayers.

We will cherish and remember with gratitude Dr. Zita Galvin for her exceptional care of Stephanie. We thank Anita Boylan, Director of Nursing at St. Vincent’s Private Hospital, all the wonderful staff of the Hawthorn and Cypress Wards and the staff of St. Brigid’s Ward in St. Vincents’s University Hospital for their outstanding dedication and care. Thank you to everyone in Sheltonville Surgery and Armstrong Life Pharmacy for your kindness and support.

A sincere word of thanks to Fr. Denis Browne for Stephanie’s funeral Mass, for leading us in prayer at the funeral home and at the graveside. A special word of thanks to Karla Tracey, Niamh O’Connor and Brigid Kenny for the beautiful singing and music during the Mass.

Thank you to Niamh & all at John Sweeney & Sons Funeral Directors for their advice, empathy, and professionalism. Thanks to Joe & Tom from RSS for tending to the grave. Thanks also to the management and staff of the Arklow Bay Hotel for their hospitality.

We owe a debt of gratitude to all the people who supported us in so many ways. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for you.

Stephanie’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 5th May at 9 a.m. in the Church of Our Lady of the Nativity, Ballyfad.
