The wife and family of Thomas Gallagher wish to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised and supported us in the days following and since, the passing of our beloved husband and father. We found great comfort in the many condolences we received through cards, letters, phone calls and personalised messages on RIP.ie and written tributes.

We wish to acknowledge with deep gratitude the medical care given to Tom by Dr. Quinlan over many years and the care he received in Tullamore regional hospital. He was also cared for in the Consolation Nursing home in Arden and finally in Carthage Nursing home Mucklagh. We acknowledge the dedication of the wonderful staff who cared for him so carefully at all times. 

Special thanks to  Fr. Martin Carley and Fr. Frank Guinan for their pastoral care and to Bishop Smith and the concelebrants at the funeral Mass. 

We thank O'Reilly Funeral Directors for their kindness and professionalism and Ciaran Gilligan and Martina Bracken for the music which greatly enhanced the ceremony.

To all our friends and very supportive neighbours who have helped and accompanied us in this very difficult time. 

As it would be impossible to mention everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our sincere gratitude. The holy sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.
