1st Anniversary & Acknowledgement

As we lovingly remember THOMAS on his First Anniversary, we his wife Catherine and family Paula, Patricia, Jonathan and Gary, grandchildren Eoin, Ryan, Glen, Alex, Zoe, Faye and Clodagh, his brothers and sisters Finbarr, Mena, Joan, Martin and Majella, his parents-in-law John and Eily McCarthy, son-in-law John, daughter-in-law Helen, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, wish to express our deepest gratitude to who supported and sympathised with us, sent Mass Cards, flowers and online messages on the passing of Thomas. 

 We wish to thank all our dear neighbours and friends who called to the house and were so kind during these challenging times.  A special thank you to Fr. John Walsh for saying a lovely Mass, Martha the sacristan, and all who made his Mass so special.  Thank you to Dr. Maria Cronin, Parklands and Dr. Derek Power and his team in the Mercy University Hospital, Marymount Hospice especially the day and night nurses who cared for Thomas.  Thank you to Joe Coughlan, Coughlan’s Funeral Home for all his help and guidance and Thomas’ colleagues in the Cork City Council for their kind words and prayers.

Thomas’ First Anniversary Mass will be held in the Church of the Resurrection, Farranree on Saturday 11th December 2021 at 6.30pm.

God called your name so softly
That only you could hear
And no one heard the footsteps

God saw you needed rest
His garden must be beautiful
He only takes the best.
