Timothy (Tim) Finn

 Timothy (Tim) Finn

Ballinhassig, Cork / Timoleague, Cork

As we lovingly remember Tim on this, his 1st anniversary, his wife Eleanor, children Cathal, Tim, Dave and Laura, his grandchildren, his brother Kevin, sister Tess and extended family, wish to acknowledge all the expressions of sympathy shown to us during our sad loss.
It's with heavy hearts that we reflect on the last year but it's also with immense appreciation that we acknowledge the support and kindness we have received from relatives, good friends and neighbours during this difficult time. Your presence at the rosary, the funeral home in Kinsale and the mass and burial in Timoleague was a great comfort to us. Thank you also to all those who phoned or sent mass cards, letters and messages of condolence, or called to our home - we're so grateful. A special word of thanks to those who travelled long distances to be with us.
To our extended family for their love and support over the past year and during Tim's illness. Also, to Tim's close and loyal friends for their unrelenting support and kindness to him during his illness.
Thanks to Dr. Kelleher and staff in the Oncology Ward in Bons Secours Hospital for caring for Tim during his short illness and the great back-up service while at home. Sincere thanks, also, to the wonderful staff in Marymount University Hospice for the comfort and kindness given to Tim during his final days, as well as the insights, knowledge and emotional support you gave our entire family, we're truly grateful. Our gratitude to Fr Declan for providing spiritual care to Tim.
A special thank you to Peter who was always there to advise and support us when we needed it.
Thank you to funeral directors Charles and Brenda O'Sullivan, Clonakilty. Your help, guidance and professionalism were very much appreciated.
Thanks to Fr Christy Fitzgerald, Deacon John Guirey and Fr Hickey for the lovely mass, and also Debbie, Pat and Jenny for the beautiful music. Timoleague GAA club's guard of honour was something Tim would've loved - thank you all so much.

Tim's anniversary mass will be held in Timoleague Church
on Thursday, August 31st, at 9.30am.

'In the hearts of those who loved you,
You will always be there'
