Tom Meegan
Tullycahan, Louth Village
Tom's wife May, daughters and son Pauline, Joan, Anthony and Fiona and the wider family wish to express our appreciation to everyone who sympathised with us on our recent bereavement. We are truly grateful to our friends, family and neighbours for all their support and kindness. We offer our heartfelt thanks to all those who attended the funeral, called to the funeral home, sent Mass Cards, made phone calls and for all of the messages of sympathy.
A special word of thanks to the wonderful staff at Moorehall Lodge, Ardee for their excellent care of Tom and their consideration for May at this sad and difficult time, Also thanks to Dr. Eleanor Ward for her attention.
Our appreciation to Fr. Gerry Campbell who celebrated a very fitting funeral Mass for Tom, to Fr. Sean McArdle for his attendance at the funeral home, to Aoife and David for the beautiful musical tribute and to Anthony Loughran, sacristan, who prepared the Church for the Mass. We are grateful to the Louth Community Hub for providing the facility for people to join us after the burial, to Conlon's Food Hall who provided the meal and to St. Mochta's GFC who provided a touching guard of honour. Our gratitude also to Annette, Gerard and Peter of Quinn's Funeral Directors for the dignified manner in which Tom's funeral was conducted.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our appreciation.
The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
Tom's Month's Mind will be celebrated at Mass on Saturday, July 8th
in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Louth Village at 5.30pm.
