We,the family of the late Tom Murray would like to acknowledge and thank most sincerely all those who supported and sympathised with us on Tom's passing.
We offer our sincere gratitude and thanks to those who travelled from far and near, to the friends, neighbours and well wishers who called to the house, phoned us, sent text messages, messages of condolences on rip.ie, and Mass cards. We would like to thank those who attended the Funeral Home, the service and burial and who provided both emotional and practical support for us at this difficult time.
A special word of thanks to The Bon Secours Hospital, Cork, who looked after Tom with such kindness and compassion during his final days.
To Father Roberts, we thank you for celebrating the Mass. We are grateful to Martin and Billy Fitzgerald for their help and guidance in directing the funeral. We would also like to thank Ger Wolfe for the music and singing that he provided during the Mass.
We are grateful to Tom's past work colleagues along with Macroom GAA and Soccer Clubs for their guards of honour, which were greatly appreciated. Thank you to those who prepared the grave for burial.
To those who helped in any way, your contribution made our loss more bearable. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our heartfelt gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
Tom's first anniversary mass will take place at 11.30 a.m. in St. Colman's Church, Macroom, on Sunday the 29th September, 2024.
