Acknowledgement and First Anniversary.

As we lovingly remember Pat on his first anniversary, his wife Marjorie and son Cian would like to express our sincere gratitude to all those who sympathised with us following our heart breaking loss, to those who visited our home, attended the funeral, sent mass cards, letters of sympathy, travelled long distances, made generous donations to the Cystic Fibrosis Association and helped us in many ways in the days following Pat's passing. Your presence thoughts and kind words were a fitting tribute to a much loved husband, Dad, son, brother, son in law and friend. Heartfelt thanks to our neighbour Ria Moore to Conor Egan and to the paramedics and staff in the A&E CUH. Very special thanks in particular to our close friends for their kindness and invaluable support throughout the past year. 

To the members and players of St. Michael's Gaelic Football Club and Blackrock Hurling Club for their participation in Pat's funeral, a wonderful tribute which will be forever appreciated. To Canon Tadgh O' Mathuna, Canon Jim O' Donovan, Fr. Der Leahy, Mary Hegarty and Frank O' Connell and all those who participated in the funeral mass.

To Ernest Horgan and Eoghan Connolly and staff of the Leaping Salmon for their hospitality following Pat's funeral, also a special mention for Pat's former colleagues and friends in Apple Computers, Pfizer and Indavar for their wonderful support. To the teachers and pupils of St.Anthony's National School and Douglas Community School. 

We would also like to acknowledge Mark Connolly, Anne Horgan, John O' Sullivan, Elaine Morrissey and Shane Kavanagh for their kindness and assistance to us in the past year and to Jerh O Connor's Funeral Home for their professionalism during Pat's funeral. 

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our deepest gratitude to you all.
