Alice Hoey

 Alice Hoey

Drumganny, Carrickmacross, Monaghan / Inniskeen, Monaghan

Alice's sister May & family of the late Alice Hoey would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with us during our recent and very sudden bereavement. We are truly grateful to all the relations, friends and neighbours, who respectfully lined the road to Mary's Mother of Mercy's Church, Inniskeen, and also who stood in the church car park and at Drumcatton graveyard. To everyone who sympathised by phone through calls & texts, added online condolences, sent mass cards & flowers and who called to the family home.

To Fr Martin Treanor for the lovely funeral Mass, to Sean, Caroline & Eileen for the beautiful music and singing. To Rosetta & Robert for preparing the church. To Micheal Magee, funeral undertaker, for his professionalism and dignified way he carried out the wishes for Alice's funeral. To the grave diggers who prepared Alice's final resting place with care and attention.

To doctor Cronin who looked after Alice over the years and Audrey, her nurse, who attended her at home in her later years.

To all those who brought food and helped in anyway.

As it is not possible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude. Mass will be offered for your intentions.

Alice's Months Mind Mass will be celebrated in
Mary Mother of Mercy Church, Inniskeen, on Friday 17 July.
