Kathleen Dixon

 Kathleen Dixon
(née Byrne)

South Quay, Arklow, Wicklow

Kathleen’s husband Sammy, daughters Samantha & Ruth, her sisters Eilish & Eine & all of her extended family wish to sincerely thank all those who offered sympathy & support at the time of Kathleen’s sudden passing & in the weeks since.

Thank you to all who visited the funeral home, attended Kathleen’s removal, funeral Mass & burial, sent Mass Cards & floral tributes & equally to those who couldn’t be with us but kept us in their thoughts & prayers. Thank you also to all who phoned, wrote or expressed heartfelt messages of condolence online.

Very special thanks to the doctors, nurses & caring staff of St. Colmcille’s, St James & St. Luke’s Hospitals, to Dr Buggle & his team at Sheltonville Surgery, to the palliative care team & to the carers who helped look after Kathleen in the home she loved. Special thanks also to Niamh Kinch & staff at Adrian Dunne Pharmacy. Our eternal thanks to John & Bernie Lambert & all our wonderful friends & neighbours for their continued kindness & friendship.

To all our extended family, to those who took part in the liturgy of the funeral, those who provided much needed support & kindness & to those who couldn’t be with us but joined via the webcam we will be eternally grateful

Sincere thanks to Fr. Pádraig Ó’Cochláin for his prayers, guidance & for celebrating such a beautiful funeral Mass & to Karla Tracey & Rosarie Kinsella for their fabulous music.

Thanks to Bill & Joe from RSS for tending to the grave & to all at John Sweeney & Sons Funeral Directors.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.

Kathleen’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 14th November at 6.30pm in St. Mary & Peter’s Church & you are welcome to join via the Arklow Parish Webcam;
