The sons, daughters, sisters & all the family of the late Rose McClelland wish to extend our most heartfelt thanks for the many kind expressions of sympathy & support we received at the time Rose passed away & in the weeks since.
While the restrictions of the time did not allow for a large gathering of family & friends as we would have loved, we are most grateful to all those who joined in the celebration of Rose’s funeral mass via webcam, those who sent letters, cards, texts & thoughtful online messages, those who donated generously to the Alzheimer Society of Ireland in Rose’s memory & those who continue to keep Rose & our family in their thoughts & prayers.
To neighbours & lifelong friends in Palmerstown & to our own colleagues, neighbours & friends, your support & kindness will never be forgotten.
Most sincere thanks to the wonderful staff of T.L.C. Nursing Home, Maynooth for the dignity, kindness & care shown to Rose throughout her time there & the comfort this brought to us, her family.
Thank you to Fr Tony Reilly for celebrating such a beautiful funeral Mass & to the sacristan & funeral team at St. Philomena’s Church.
Thank you also to Colm Curran for tending to the grave at Esker Cemetery & to all at John Sweeney & Sons Funeral Directors.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.
A joint Memorial Mass for Rose & her beloved husband Matt will be celebrated on Matt’s anniversary in August when, hopefully, we can all be together again.
