 Gerard Houlihan

Crecora, Limerick / Kilmallock, Limerick

As we lovingly remember Gerard Joseph on his first Anniversary, we his family, wife Louise, son James, daughters Kate, Ava and Olivia, brothers Michael and John and sisters Geraldine and Catheriona, parents in law James and Catherine and extended family, wish to thank all those who helped us through the last year.

Our heartfelt thanks go to those who showed their sympathy by lining the roads in Kilmallock and Limerick (huge appreciation to Kilmallock GAA in organising this), those who sent condolences through RIP.ie, those who sent Mass cards, beautifully written letters of sympathy we are very grateful. To Tommy Mulcahy for the beautifully written piece in Gerard's Memory. We know that many of you would have liked to attend Gerard Joseph’s funeral, however, due to restrictions this was not possible. We appreciate the efforts you took to show how much you cared for our beloved Gerard.

Thank you to Crosses undertakers for their professional and courteous service. A special thank you to Fr Richie Davern whose care and kindness will be long remembered by the family.

Please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our gratitude during this difficult time in our lives.

The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass for Gerard Joseph's anniversary will be online on the 31st March at 09.30 from Kilmallock Church and 7:30pm from Crecora Church.

We thought of you with love today,

But that is nothing new,

 We thought about you yesterday,

And the day beforet that too,

We thought about you in silence,

And we often speak your name,

All we have is memories,

And your picture in a frame,

Your memory is a keepsake,

With which we will never part,

God has you in his keeping,

We have you in our heart.
