The death has occurred of
Desmond (Des) Dunne
Dunne (Ballincollig and late of South Douglas Road, Cork) On June 12th 2020, peacefully after a short illness in the presence of his loving family at Cork University Hospital, Desmond (Des) (late of Minelab Bandon), beloved son of the late Gerard and Rena (nee Lynch) and loving brother of Valerie (O’Hanlon), Cathal, Bernadette (Sobel) and Geraldine. Sadly missed by his loving family, brothers-in-law Terry and Leigh, sister-in-law Kathleen, Geraldine’s partner Noel, nieces Amy, Cathy and Jean, nephews Tiernan, Kieran, Evan, Brian, Darragh and Ryan, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives and friends.
May he rest in peace.
In accordance with government guidelines on public gatherings the funeral will take place privately.
A memorial Mass will be held at a later date.
Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to the Irish Cancer Society.
