Méala mór a bhás dá chlann, Ruairí, Fionnuala, Maelíosa, Órfhlaith agus Conall, dá dheartháir Christy, dá dheirfiúr Kathleen, dá chliamhaineacha, Sheelagh, Frank, Carolyn, Eoin agus Denise,  dá gharpháistí agus a iliomad cairde. Léifear Aifreann na sochraide dó i Séipéal Naomh Iognáid, Bóthar na Mara, ag 11 i.n. Dé Sathairn an 29 Lúnasa. Cuirfear i Reilig Rathúin ina dhiaidh sin é.

(Formerly Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny) Suddenly but peacefully at University Hospital Galway.  Predeceased by his beloved wife Máire. Deeply regretted by his devoted family, Ruairí, Fionnuala, Maelíosa, Órfhlaith and Conall, brother Christy, sister Kathleen, sons-in-law Frank and Eoin, daughters-in-law Sheelagh, Carolyn and Denise, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives and many, many friends and neighbours.

Route and funeral arrangements :    The funeral cortège will travel  from Seán’s home to St. Ignatius (Jesuit) Church, Sea Road on Saturday, 29th August leaving at 10.15 a.m. via Maunsell’s Road,  Taylor’s Hill, Fr. Griffin Avenue, Fr. Griffin Road, Flood Street and  ‘An Taibhdhearc’ to arrive for Requiem Mass at the Church at  11 a.m.    Funeral thereafter to Rahoon cemetery. The Funeral  Mass and interment at the cemetery will take place privately as a result of social distancing guideliines.
