James Murphy, Gorrue, Knocktopher, Co. Kilkenny.

Peacefully in his 90th year at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny on Tuesday 13th October 2020. Predeceased by his parents, brothers and sisters. Deeply regretted by his loving family, his brothers Ned and Pete, sisters Sr. Kathleen, Sr. Genevieve and Sr. Brigid, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

In keeping with current government and HSE guidelines regarding public gatherings, James will be reposing at his residence on Wednesday with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 8pm. Funeral arriving to Knockmoylan Church for Requiem Mass on Thursday at 11am with burial afterwards in the adjoining Churchyard.  For those who would have liked to attend James’s Funeral Mass, but due to current restrictions cannot do so, please use the online condolence page below as an option to offer your sympathies. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. The family would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their understanding and support at this difficult time.
