Ellen (Nellie) Barron, Née Rafter, Croan, Newmarket, Co. Kilkenny and formerly of Catstown, Hugginstown.

Peacefully in the loving care of Anne and Chris and caring staff at Drakelands Nursing Home, Kilkenny on Thursday 22nd October 2020.

Pre-deceased by her husband Bill. Deeply regretted by her loving family, daughters Brigid, Eileen, Mary and Ann, sons Jim, John, Pat and Willie, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Due to HSE and Covid-19 guidelines, and with the support of Ellen’s family, her funeral shall be private. For those who would have liked to attend Ellen’s Funeral, but due to current restrictions cannot do so, please use the online condolence page below as an option to offer your sympathies. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. The family would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their understanding and support at this difficult time.
