Kathleen Geoghegan (nee Long) Walkin Street, Kilkenny City, died suddenly on Thursday 4th February 2021 at Signacare Nursing Home, Ferrybank, Co. Waterford.  Predeceased by her first born son Keith.  Deeply regretted by her loving husband Jimmy and much loved mother of Miriam, Caroline and Son James, sons-in-law Mark and David, her sisters Marie and Margaret, adored grandchildren Nicole, Jessica, Taylor, Candice, Jamie and Lexi, nieces, nephews, relatives, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

In accordance with current Government/HSE guidelines and in the interest of public health and the safety of our most vulnerable a private funeral will take place for Kathleen (max 10 people in Church).  For those unable to attend you may view the Requiem Mass on Monday 8th of February at 11 am at the following link www.stmaryscathedral.ie

The Geoghegan family would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their understanding and support at this difficult time.

Kathleen’s funeral cortège will pass by her home (Walkin Street) and her former home (Fr. Albert Place) after her Requiem Mass on route to Foulkstown Cemetery for neighbours and friends who may wish  to line the route.
