Peacefully, in the gentle and dedicated care of the staff of Beaumont Hospital, Dublin. Predeceased by his wife Patsy, brother Seamus and sister Rosetta. Dear father of Paul, Jacqueline, Alan and Shirley. He will be sadly missed by his sons, daughters, son-in-law Johnny, daughter-in-law Praima, grandchildren Amy, Laura, Aoibheann and Peter, sisters Kitty, Anne and Margaret, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Due to Level 5 restrictions on numbers at funeral ceremonies, Gussie’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the presence of his family only.
There will be an opportunity for the community to show support and to remember Gussie by being present on the route, socially distanced, on Saturday, February 13th, as the funeral cortege leaves from Quinn’s Funeral Home, Bridge Street, pausing at St. Patrick’s GFC, continuing via his home, returning to St. Mary’s Church, Lordship for Funeral Mass at 12 noon and afterwards to Lordship Cemetery for burial.
