Bob (Robert) Rock

Bob (Robert) Rock left this life on February 26th surrounded by his beloved wife Teresa, and his loving daughters Julie, Christine and Deirdre, who held his hand as he passed on. He is in the loving thoughts of his grandkids Conor, Julia, Kiersten, Cliona and his great-grandson Carter, all of whom were his pride and joy. He is also greatly missed by his dear sister Chrissie, his loved son in law Rob and his former son in law Dermot. He lived a wonderfully happy life enjoying time with family, walks on the beach and pursuing his passion of nature photography. He is now reunited with his cherished mother Julia, his father James and his dear brother Shay.

His life will be celebrated privately on Tuesday 2nd of March and he will do one last drive through his treasured town of youghal leaving the Holy Family Church at 11.45 approx going down Raheen Park, onto O" Briens TCE, and down Windmill Hill through town and onto the lighthouse to see his beautiful beach one last time.

We go to the grave of a friend saying"A man is dead", but angels throng about him saying "A man is born" - Henry Ward Beecher.

In observing his wishes, Bob will be cremated and in lieu of flowers the family is kindly requesting donations be made in his memory to The Irish Cancer Society.
