Philip (Phil) O'Dwyer

Philip died March 4th 2021, his 79th birthday in the wonderful care of the nurses and staff at Ardeen Nursing Home Thurles. Predeceased by his parents Jeremiah and Ellen, his brothers Thomas and Dermot and sister Helen. Sadly missed by his beloved children Daragh, Nessa and Breffni, his five heartbroken grandchildren Caoimhe, Ruairi', Eabha, Mia and Lucie who loved their "Papi Philly" as much as he loved them, his daughter in law Niamh, son in law Leo and Jack. His siblings Marie, Michael, Jack, Kevin, Noel, Ger, Joe and Riona, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Rest in Peace

In keeping with Government guidelines regarding public gatherings Philip's funeral cortège will leave his residence at Willowmere Drive on Monday March 8th at 10.15 arriving at the Cathedral of the Asumption, Thurles at 10.30 for private Requiem Mass at 11.00 followed by private cremation in Little Island Crematorium. No flowers please, donations in lieu, if desired to The Alzheimer Society of Ireland. House private please. 

The family would like to express their gratitude to staff and carers at Ardeen Nursing Home with special thanks to Maureen for hosting a virtual birthday that will be forever cherished.
