Dr. John B. Dillon

Oakview House, Knockroe, Castlerea, Roscommon

Dillon, Dr. John B, Oakview House, Knockroe, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon (Terenure College & RCSI) – 19th May 2021 (peacefully) at his home surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his son John Gerard, brothers Joe, Fr. Ciaran, and Francis, sisters Ria and Rosaire. John will be sadly missed by his loving wife Mary (nee McDonald), children David (Manchester), Michaela (Ballinlough), Andrew (Castlerea), Paul (Dublin), Mark (London), Marie-Louise (Castlerea), and Stephanie (Castlerea), brother Rev. Pascal Dillon OMI, grandchildren Luke, Lorcan, Aine, Hania and Daniel, daughters-in-law Jayne, Farida, and Aga, sons-in-law Richard and Jimmy, brother-in-law Peter (Fullam, Naas) nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Due to Government and HSE guidelines regarding public gatherings and to protect the most vulnerable in our community a private family funeral will take place. John’s funeral cortege will leave the family home on Saturday morning at 10.15am to arrive at St. Patrick’s Church, Castlerea for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am. Burial afterward in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. The funeral Mass will be live-streamed via Gaynor Funeral Directors Facebook page and can be viewed on Saturday morning from 10.45am by clicking HERE

 

No flowers by request. Donations, if desired,  to Mayo Roscommon Hospice: Donate or c/o Gaynors Funeral Directors or any family member.
