The death has occurred of
John Young
On August 19th 2021 peacefully at Cork University Hospital in the presence of his loving family, John, Pier House, Courtmacsherry, formerly of Droumadava, Drimoleague. Beloved husband of Breda, father of Dónal, Kevin and Seán, brother of Phil and the late Finbarr and Paddy, son of the late John and Eileen. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, sons, daughter-in-law Amy and Georgia, grandchildren Freya-Rose, April and Seán, extended family and friends.
To comply with government and HSE guidelines, John's funeral will take place privately. Requiem Mass on Saturday at 12 noon in Sacred Heart Church, Courtmacsherry (livestreamed on https://corklivestream.com/Funerals. Following requiem Mass, John's funeral cortege will proceed to Courtmacsherry Pier pausing at the pier before making his final journey to Drimoleague new cemetery (via Timoleague, Clonakilty bypass, Rosscarbery, Leap, Skibbereen bypass, passing Skibbereen Hospital, Main Street Drimoleague) arriving at 3pm approximately.
