Patrick (Pat) Shasby

Patrick (Pat) Shasby, (St. Riochs Street, Kilkenny City) died peacefully on Thursday, 9th September 2021, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny.  Deeply regretted by his devoted, loving and caring wife Alice and much loved father of Patricia, Margaret, Breda, Mary and Michael and their partners.  Greatly missed by his grandchildren, Alice Jean, Tom and Michaela, relatives, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends. 

MAY PATRICK REST IN PEACE

Reposing at his family funeral home, Shasby’s Funeral Home, Kilkenny City on Monday (13th September) from 5.30pm concluding with rosary at 6.30pm followed by removal to St. Mary’s Cathedral Kilkenny City. Requiem Mass will be celebrated on (Tuesday 14th September) at 11am in St. Mary’s Cathedral, followed by interment in St. Kieran’s Cemetery.

The funeral cortege will pass Pat’s residence, via Stephen Street, on route to St. Kieran’s Cemetery for neighbours and friends who may wish to show their respect.

The Shasby Family would like to take this opportunity to thank Bluebird Care, Archersrath Nursing Home Kilkenny and St. Luke’s Hospital for their care and kindness.
