Sr. Philomena Phelan

Sr. Philomena Phelan, Convent of Mercy Callan, Co. Kilkenny and formerly of Killusty, Fethard, Co. Tipperary. Peacefully at  Aut Even Hospital, Kilkenny on Thursday, 17th February 2022. Predeceased by her parents William and Mary Ellen, sister Sr. Brid C.P., brothers Willie and Gus, sister-in-law Catherine and nephew David. Deeply regretted by her sorrowing family, her brother Eddie, sisters-in-law Eileen and Noreen, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, extended family, the Sisters of Mercy in Callan and the Southern Province and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing in Molloy's Funeral Home, Callan on Saturday, 19th February,  from 6pm concluding with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 8pm. Funeral Prayers on Sunday morning at 11am followed by removal to The Church of the Assumption,  Callan for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Kilbride Cemetery, Callan.
