Philip (Phil) Byrne, Castletobin, Callan, Co. Kilkenny and late of Corpus Christi Nursing Home Mitchelstown, Co. Cork.

Peacefully, on Saturday, 12th March 2022 aged 90 years, surrounded by his family in the excellent care of the staff at Cork University Hospital.

 

Predeceased by his wife Mary, his parents Philip and Mary, his brothers Sean, Tom, Peter, Michael and Nicholas and his sister Brigid.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving family, his sons Brian, John and Denis, daughter Anne, grandson Brian, granddaughters Aoife, Niamh, Aine and Caoimhe, brother Bryan, daughters-in-law Jean and Angela, son-in-law Stephen, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, great-grandnephews, great-grandnieces, cousins, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Reposing in Molloy’s Funeral Home, Callan on Monday, 14th March from 4pm concluding with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 7pm. Funeral will arrive to the The Church of the Assumption, Callan for Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 11am. Burial will take place afterwards in Drinagh Cemetery, Drinagh, Co. Cork at approx. 4pm.
